The tabletop has a two-layer structure: MDF + glass. The body of the tabletop is made of painted durable 35 mm MDF. The top layer of the tabletop is made of tempered glass with a colored, baked thermal film in beige or white with a "granite-look" texture, 5 mm thick. The table surface is not only pleasant to the touch, but also very practical, as fingerprints, wet streaks or dust are not visible on the matte glass. Many ask about the advisability of using glass as a tabletop. Our answer: the glass is indeed strong, but it is still glass. You should not drop heavy objects on it, but if an accident does happen, the tempered glass will crack or shatter into pieces with dull, safe edges.

Glass is resistant to minor mechanical damage, moisture and temperature changes. Contaminants cannot penetrate its structure, and the glass does not absorb odors. Glass is also an environmentally friendly material that does not contain harmful substances or dangerous chemical compounds.

Precautions: please, to preserve the perfect appearance for a long time, we do NOT recommend cutting vegetables or bread directly on the table surface, as well as placing hot pots or pans straight from the stove on it.
